Wales Tourist Board 5 Stars

Visit Wales five star holiday park at Borth, near Aberystwyth.
A great area for touring, walking, watersports, golf, fishing, cycling or
just lying on the long, sandy beach and exploring the rock pools.  We are only ten miles from the location of the 2011 SPRINGWATCH BBC  programme which is due to return again in 2012.
One of the highlights has been the Osprey chicks hatching at the nearby Osprey Breeding Centre.

Northfield Holiday Park is a small, peaceful caravan and chalet park on the edge of the seaside village of Borth, six miles from the university town of Aberystwyth and a half hour drive from the Centre for Alternative Technology at Machynlleth on the outskirts of the Dyfi Valley.   Since 2009 the Dyfi Valley was declared a Biosphere by UNESCO and the area hosts some of the finest examples of special landscapes and wildlife areas in Europe.

At Northfield, there are thirteen comfortable, fully equipped caravans and two spacious timber chalets, both of which have panoramic views of Cardigan Bay.

There are also two self-catering cottages a five minute walk away from the caravan park.

Edgeley, a detached bungalow situated in the residential cliff area of Borth, has three bedrooms, a lounge, separate dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Outside, there is a garage, a patio area and enclosed and gated lawned garden to the rear.

Silver Ridge is a split level dormer bungalow with three bedrooms, a lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom.  It has a large secluded, gated garden with patio area to the rear and has views of the sea and the mountains beyond.  There is also a garden to the front of the property and a garage with extra parking in the driveway.

Five minutes walk takes you to a quiet cove to snorkel or fish or to the main safe beach of sand, rock pools and dunes.

Bob and Ann Moore ensure that everything possible is done to give you an enjoyable holiday. Wales Tourist Board inspection marks of 100% were given for cleanliness, service and welcome this year.

The park is the first in Wales to hold membership of Green Globe and a David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award reflects the care taken to combine environmental protection with commercial success.

Thoughtful landscaping and mass planting of both indigenous and semi-tropical plants has made Northfield the prettiest and most colourful park in the area.
